This fairly long hike will reward you with beautiful views of the Concord River, in season.
Since we're placing it in the spring, before the foliage has bloomed, we don't know if poison ivy will be a problem in the summer. But this time of year black flies definitely are - you'll want to bring bug juice.
The Ralph Hill Conservation Area is maintained by the Sudbury Valley Trustees in coordination with the Town of Billerica. It's a hidden treasure. At the Sudbury Valley Trustees website there is a trail map available for download.
A bit of steepness will keep you on your toes.
