This cache is on the top of a prominent hill near the village of Faz Fato. To reach it you need to follow a rough track. It is about a 1km walk from the nearest tarmac road. There are fantastic views in all directions. You can see Spain, the bridge across the Guadiana and the rolling hills of the Algarve hinterland. Please look at the photo gallery.

This is a small cache (white plastic tub approximately 5cm across by 12cm deep) containing a notepad, pen and a selection of interesting coins to swap. At the time of hiding, these were

January 31 by dameblanche (1662 found) This cache was not visited for months! We drove up the road and walked the last 200 meters to the cache. There we discovered another path which we could have driven all the way to the cache, but the short walk we took was very nice. The view was great!
