This cache has been archived.

hydnsek: Thanks to Puppers for placing this cache seven years ago, but it's time to free up the area for others. GardenPest and $2_Bill helped me retrieve the ammo can today.

Geocache Description:

A short hike in Coal Creek Park to an actual ammo can. Hike length depends on where you start.

The cache is an ammo can about 50 feet off the trail in an area where it shouldn't be a problem. The cache is intended to be done along with its sister cache, Coal Creek Overlook.

The Coal Creek Trail is a lovely hike that continues across Coal Creek Parkway and all the way up to the Red Town trailhead of Cougar Mountain park, with several more caches along the way. (If you use a Garmin GPSr, Northwest Trails could prove helpful.)

This cache was originally placed by Puppers, aka Bob Newell and Cristy Johnson, who were taken from us too soon.
