Access from Big Cottonwood Canyon. An average 1 1/2 - 2 hour hike
to the cache. (I am an active 25 year old male. Please be aware of
your own ability and plan ahead for a longer hike depending on your
pace.) Altitude at the cache is approximately 9000 ft.
Cache is an ammo box. It's intentionally lodged in a crevice so
that it will last through the winter. This is NOT your average
"junk drawer" cache. Check it out! I modified the ratings a tad on
this cache on 07/09/01. After some discussion in the Geocaching
Forums, it has been decided that we need a more uniform system. For

the mrs and i stopped by this morning to find this cache while in the area. we found this cache after a short picnic at the lake. the cache is in great shape. we left a sig card and continued on our way. thanks for the great cache along our way!
