This cache predates JNUcacher's series called Salmon Creek History (#2-6) but this is where the hydropower story begins (or ends) so it also acts as the first cache in the series that celebrates the centennial of the Salmon Creek Hydroelectric Project. There are a few toys and trade-ables in the cache ready for the next visitor. Thanks to JNUcacher there are also photo postcards explaining what role this area played in electricity generation 100 years ago.
The container has consistently been damaged during landscaping. To prevent this, the container is no longer in a position where that can occur. Please replace the cache securely to ensure against damage.
