This is a five stage multi in the Weeki Wachee preserve. It takes you away from the regular trails. Not hard but it involves some walking. You have to find four small container with coordinates inside leading the the final-a camo'ed can with some goodies.

I like this preserve. It has places to escape the outside and if you follow some of the side trails then you can see amazing things-on the day I placed the cache their were deer, turkeys, and lots of five-lined skinks. Sun bathing and running.

This is built on some of my fond memories of some of the Postpile hides that I tend to do in the summer, when it is hot and a storm sits on the horizon. Usually without enough water or any good sense. My way of hiking Florida. I love this kind of habitat.

You are looking for 4 hides with coordinates inside. No need to remove the container-just open and remove the inside. The fourth will lead you to the final. And to keep the cache fun you can email me the keywords on the coordinates that list some of my favorite cachers. You also need to enjoy the preserve. Bring water, and most of the caches are in the fun, wet places.

Picked a nice hot day (just after it rained) to finish this one off. I had found the first stage a couple of weeks ago, but the sun was down already so I had to come back. Ditched the bike ( and my water) before heading in for Stage 3...this one was was aptly named and my favorite. Loved the "jaws of death" entrance. Tried to take a shortcut animal trail to the final, but it petered out and the bushwacking got pretty intense....made it within 500 feet before back-tracking out to the trail for a leisurely walk around to sign the log. Thanks for a great multi in a great park!
