How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated to those geocachers who have sacrificed their telephone numbers so that other geocachers may rest assured that a hint or help is only a quick dial away.

Ever find yourself alone and without a clue? Well then why the heck didn't you think to bring your laptop, PDA, or other e-device that contains all the e-geocaching info? Or do you still print out those endless cache pages, deforesting our forests and sapping the ink out of our ink wells in the process? OK, I digress...

How about, ever find a cache that has truly stumped you, and you don't have any hints? Maybe you have a hint and are still looking, looking, looking for maybe an hour and in the back of your mind you're thinking, "It's been muggled! I know it has, because I nearly always find them." OK, you can't find the cache and you need help. Who ya gonna call? Cachebusters! No silly, call your Inland Empire geobuddies on the Phone a Cacher List.

So finally, that's what this cache is all about. When you arrive, you will quickly find the cache, but you will need to find and sign the logbook to log it. Note that the "cover" can be removed. I strongly suggest NOT doing this at night as there is barbed wire nearby (easily avoidable in daylight) and well, the cache is better put back in the right spot in daylight.

So have fun and be sure to call your friendly caching pals if you need help, or even if you don't.

Special thanks to Tweety who is the creator of the Inland Empire Phone a Cacher list.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do not use unnecessary force or knives on the Ring Ring object (i.e., don't go where a normal owner wouldn't go, or you might break it). Everything can be accessed with just your fingers and perhaps the golden spike!
