In order to complete this cache you will need to take along with
you a 2 litre bottle of water and a pen. The cache box is a film
canister and does not contain any writing equipment. The importance
of the water will become clear at the cache site!

from head towards the short walk parking coordinates N53°19.888 W002°40.250 Take the grass path on the
right hand side of the access road leading towards the tower.
Norton Water Tank

An amazing sandstone construction one of several water tanks and
balancing reservoirs built as part of a massive engineering project
to improve water supply between North Wales and Liverpool. Norton
Water Tank is one feature of a water supply system that includes
the Vyrnwy Dam and aqueduct.
The water tower itself has a capacity of 650,000 gallons, Its
sand stone tower stands some 110ft high and can be seen from miles
around. It once stood almost alone in the Cheshire countryside but
as progress dictates it is now surrounded by various housing
estates.
