The Mob
The event was a wild success. Thanks to Hydnsek to wrangling all
those crazy umbrella poppers. Congratulations to GnarlyGnancy for
winning the WWFM V Geocoin!
This is a Flash Mob Gathering of Geocachers that is only
15 minutes long! You MUST be present and sign a log sheet during
this time to participate. This event is part of the
WWFM V - World
Wide Flash Mob Geocaching Events. Thousands of geocachers at
dozens of events all around the globe with be joining the
fun.
Prior to the start time, wander about nonchalantly. Do not let
on that anything is about to happen.
Step One - 10:00 AM
At precisely 10:00 pop open an umbrella (preferably a
giant, multicolored one) and converge
on Ground Zero! After a photo is taken sign a log sheet and enjoy
the official Flash Mob Meal, Hersey's Kisses. A quick raffle will
be held for some goodies, including a WWFM V Geocoin.
Last minute note: I, JustMike, cannot attend this event
so Hydnsek will manage things. This might confuse a few people that
know she or I, but, hey, how many people will be at the posted
coordinates at 10:00 with a log for you to sign? Thanks,
Hydnsek!
Step Two - 10:15 AM
At 10:15 the event ends. Everyone should disburse. If you'd
like to hang out and visit with other crazy umbrella poppers please
do so away from the area. The
Cougar Mountain CITO is a short distance away and starts at
10:30. The CITO would be fabulous spot to visit and join the fun.
There's even going to be a picnic!
