You will be trekking down a small portion of the Miami and Erie Canal Towpath hiking trail. There is parking but DO NOT GO BEYOND THE SIGN at the parking coordinates. There are five caches north of the parking coordinates and five south of the parking coordinates.
You may or may not encounter tall grass, ticks, thorns, poison ivy, standing water, snakes and mosquitoes. The tow path is mowed at times but no guarantee as to when. The path is a bit uneven and there are a few critter holes along the way so watch your step. I would suggest closed toed shoes such as tennis shoes or boots and long pants
