Geocache Description:

*day light hours only, please (see attributes)*

A fun and quick 2-step multi cache that takes you to a neat location in College Park East in Seal Beach

Geocaching is about many things. One of those things is about bringing people to interesting locations they otherwise would not discover. Another thing is that cachers in this area need more multi caches!

To address both, here is a fun and quick multi cache that takes you to a neat location. Regarding the difficulty rating, I put it in the middle. This is only because I have a talent for messing up Multi caches, especially counting and math, even more so if the description contains any of the words; quick, easy or fun.

WP1 is parking. If you are lucky - and good chance you are - you park right in front of an interesting feature. If you are not lucky the feature will a short urban hike away, about 100ft. The feature is an eye-catcher even though most people don’t even notice it as they are minding their own business and never look left or right. You will know that you discovered it when you say WOW! For this very reason, to give every cacher his or her WOW moment (although I understand that some may only have a wow moment, or no such moment at all), I kindly request that you do NOT post pictures of WP1 in your logs. As a matter of fact, all, yes ALL spoiler pictures of WP1 will be deleted by the CO.

To obtain the coordinates of WP2 you need to take a close look at the feature. Once you calculated the final coordinates, enjoy your urban hike, or for most of you, get into your car to get to WP2.

WORKSHEET

STEP 1: Count:
a = Number of Haliaeetus Leucocephalus
b = Number of Ursus Arctos
c = Number of Branta canadensis
d = Number of Cervus canadensis
e = How many R in sign
f = How many I (letter i) in sign
g = How many letters and numbers in sign (this is not a street sign)
h = how many light features (not electric)

STEP 2: Do the Math:

WP2 is at N33.46.ABC W118 0D.EFG

A = a + b + c
B = (g divided by f) minus h plus d
C = b + c
D = c + d
E = e minus d minus h
F = (f times c) divided by h
G = (g plus f) divided by b

STEP 3: Assemble the coordinates for the final:

Final is at N33.46.ABC W118 0D.EFG

STEP 4: Hike or drive to the cache. Parking near the final location usually is not an issue.

STEP 5: Find it (you may need a TOTT), Sign log, re-hide as found.

STEP 6: Post your log.

Do not post specific information or pictures on the feature. Logs with spoilers and spoiler pictures will be deleted.

Bonus points if you can identify the name of the creek near WP2.
