Welcome to Barron County, where the north/south roads are streets and east/west roads are avenues. This has been set up in a grid pattern, so 20th St. is one mile west of 19th St., and 14th Ave. is one mile south of 15th Ave. Halfway between is 19 1/2; halfway between those is 19 1/4, etc. I have even seen one with 15/16!
Nature lovers will enjoy the nearby osprey nest, where the nestlings are vocal about getting their next meal.
Keep an eye out for a pair of mute swans that are raising a brood of 5 cygnets. Spotting them is a plus.
Cache is a quick park and grab on 18 7/8 St., a street that ends abruptly. FTF will find a geocoin ready to be removed.
