UV GOT A TXT MSG (Devon) Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Stuey: I may resurrect this one in the future, but for now, it's time to go. I'll get to the cache to retrieve the Yellow Jeep when I can.

Thanks for all the votes from finders that made this the top rated cache in the UK for a short time.

Stuey

Geocache Description:

A tough physical challenge with some very different locations along the East Devon coast. The co-ordinates above are in the sea, but you don't need to get wet in the search for the cache. Be prepared to probably get scratched and dirty! You have been warned.

By seeking this or any other cache placed by myself or maintained by me you accept responsibility for your own safety. Caching can be dangerous. Assess the risk for yourself before seeking this cache!

Without one essential piece of special equipment, this cache will need more than one attempt before completing it. You have been warned! This item of special equipment is hinted at within this cache page several times. If you can't see it, you will find out what you need when you need it. A revisit would be required in this instance! Other pieces of equipment are probably present in most households.

I will go out of my way to say that if conditions are wet or windy you may be better off staying at home! The ground can be very slippery when wet. A night visit isn't advised for two reasons (personal safety and missing out on some great views). I am now offering extra hints by email to those that have got stuck.

I would not advise you to do this cache alone, but if you insist on attempting this one solo, be sure that you are aware of your own physical and mental limitations, especially at the location of the second micro! Ask any companions who are waiting for you to allow 60 minutes or so before starting to worry for your safety! Perhaps post a note here asking if another cacher would like to accompany you and you will be much safer.

Please be careful when posting your log that you don't spoil the surprise of the locations for future visitors too. Sorry to say but any logs which do so will be deleted immediately and you will be asked to post an amended log. Also, please don't feel ashamed to post a DNF log. This is a 5/5 cache after all and it might make interesting reading anyway. If you are planning an attempt at this cache, you should email me with your kit list in advance and I'll tell you if you are likely to succeed... or not?!

Good luck!
