We had to archive this cache in 2004 due to developers fencing off
the area in preparation of building a housing track. There was a
long battle with the Friends of the Prime Desert Woodland, Sierra
Club-Antelope Valley Group and the Lancaster Community Neighborhood
Organization over the city planning commission approval to build.
Originally this area was earmarked to be added to the Prime Desert
Woodland Preserve. Now that the housing boom has gone bust the
builder removed the fencing and the area is now open again.
Hopefully the area will now be included within the Prime Desert
Woodland preserve.
You are looking for a decon container with log book and
pencil.
