Hanging Rock is an awesome outcrop of rocks where the Battle of the Hanging Rock was fought during the Revolutionary War.
The coords above will take you to a Historical Marker approximately 1 mile from Hanging Rock Park in Heath Springs, SC.
The Historical Marker states that President George Washington spent the night at James Ingram's home on May 26, 1791, not too far from the location. There were apparently many battles fought in this area in the year 1780.
The cache is a standard ammo can that is camoed. It has a variety of items in it for every age.
