Geocache Description:

GeocacheAlaska! is teaming up with the local chapter of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) to provide diabetic youth between the ages of six and eighteen a portal to outdoor adventure through geocaching.

Volunteers are needed to help set up and/or conduct the event. Set up
will be between 10:00 a.m. and noon and entails setting out some temporary caches provided by ADA and verifying the targeted permanent geocaches are still in place.

The ADA event itself will run between noon and 3:00 p.m. GeocacheAlaska! volunteers will serve as guides/coaches for forty to sixty youth during a caching walkabout around Kincaid Park. A limited number of GPS units will be provided by The GPS Store, so cachers are encouraged to bring spare GPS units they are willing to share with the youth.
