This micro-cache is not at the coordinates listed above, but they can be determined from the paragraph below. With all the recent puzzle caches in the bay area, my resistance finally broke down and I’ve decided to chart my own. Here’s my first, your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Please bring your own pen to log your find.
My eldest was a computer science major at UC Davis (now graduated), but before he developed a love of programming, he was very adept at art. His use of orange, violet and yellow in some of his floral paintings was fantastic. His landscape watercolor of white clouds on a violet sky was quite unique. His acrylic painting of a yellow tiger deep in the jungle silhouetted against the large green ferns and the brown tree trunks was fabulous and helped him win a red ribbon. In high school, he gave up his love of art and became enamored with programming. We were a bit concerned that he would want to go to one of those schools that would drive our finances into the red, but fortunately, he chose a UC school and we managed to stay in the black. In a couple of months he will be donning his black cap and gown and we will drive to Davis in our brown SUV to see him receive his diploma. We will be so proud as he takes the orange tassel from his cap and hangs it from the mirror in his red sports car as he drives off to his adult life.
