How Geocaching Works
This letterbox cache was hidden for the 5th Annual Vancouver Island Hide n' Go Cache.
The posted coordinates are for the place to leave your vehicle. If you come by bicycle, this is the place to start reading the following instructions.
Walk down the hill from the parking spot and get onto the Galloping Goose Trail. Walk in the direction of the bridge and continue on over it, stopping to admire the volume of water and the fish ladder. Continue along the trail, keeping an eye out for the following 'landmarks' all together on the right hand side.
A cedar with branches that reach the ground,
A storm drain cover,
A bank of rocks.
When you see this collection, turn into the bank of rocks and you will find the cache almost smack-dab in the middle, under a moss covered rock.
