Geocache Description:

Located in the park that hosts the Garlic Festival.

In Gilroy garlic is king. Each year this park becomes a mecca for garlic lovers all over the country. They make a pilgrimage here during the last weekend in July. Over 100,000 people will pay homage to the "Stinking Rose" in this park. If you come during the festival expect traffic, heat, crowds and the best darn food around.

Bring lots of money and don't eat too much. Try the garlic ice cream if you dare.

This cache has been moved to a new location about 200 ft away and up the trail. The cache is in a small black plastic box.
