Stuart, Point me to the CUAD CITO Cache In Trash Out Event

This cache has been archived.

Grahame Cookie: If the weather had been kinder I am sure that we could have picked up a lot more than the x 3 bags of mostly recyclable rubbish (plus sundry bits) that we were able to before the storm hit.
Nice to have at least a part of Stuarts Point looking better, and to have the locals realise that there are others who care for their environment is a bonus! Again, THANKS to those who were able to help.
Till next time! Cache on! [:)]

Geocache Description:

Sunday, 1st of March is the (25th) Annual "Clean Up Australia Day" Event, where Ozzies gather together and help pick up litter to tidy their community up. We will meet just off of Marine Parade, Stuarts Point, at 1600 (4pm).

With THANKS to the local geocachers for placing great caches in this 'out-of-the-way' delight we will do our part to keep geocaching well known in the local community. Feel welcome to place a "Will Attend", and come prepared with sturdy shoes, brimmed hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle. I will be able to provide gloves and collection bags.

After introductions, signing the Clean Up Australia Day registration sheet (and Event log book) there will be a short time to swap, and or log collectibles before heading across to the dunes.

Did you know that NSW has a geocaching association? Geocaching NSW aims to enhance and improve the activity of geocaching and holds regular events where geocachers meet to enjoy their common interests. Visit the association website here.
