Here is the Glen Williams (Ontario) hint-retrieval component of the Great Canadian Multi Cache series.

Intro:
How much do you like cryptography? How much do you like getting to know your fellow countrymen? Both ideas are implemented in the Great Canadian Multi Cache (GCMC) series. In short, you must collect the information from all the GCMC 'hint caches' (watch this page for updates on publication of the other cities' GCMC caches) and solve a one-time pad (click to visit the link) cipher to reveal the location of our local 'final cache' "GCMC - Glen Williams (Ontario) - Final".

The puzzle:
In this cache, you will find only the logbook, pencil, and info cards containing the ciphertext for the "GCMC - Glen Williams (Ontario) - Final" cache co-ordinates, and part of the keystream used to encode the co-ordinates for all the GCMC final caches across the country. Please take one of the info cards. If you line up the key fragment ("Short Hint") with the correct part of the ciphertext ("Long Hint") and 'subtract' the letters, you will reveal a portion of the plaintext that spells out the co-ordinates of the Glen Williams final cache. The rest of the key fragments are hidden in similar caches across Canada. After those cache listings are published, you will need to contact someone who has found the cache and trade the short hints. You must also deduce by trial-and-error the correct way to assemble the short hints and the correct position for aligning the key under the long hint.

Cache is located along a section of the 12km long Credit Valley Footpath side trail of the Bruce Trail.
