Trafton Lake is a recreational area in Limestone, Maine.
This cache is at Trafton Lake in Limestone, Maine. Trafton Lake is a recreational area with a playground, boat launch, picnic facilities, restrooms and a campground/RV park. To get to Trafton Lake, take the Access Highway, (Rt. 89), that connects Caribou and Limestone. Before you arrive in Limestone, turn onto the Ward Road and follow that until you hit the Lake Road. The parking lot is at 46o 53.269 N 067o 50.584. You can play around for awhile, have a picnic lunch, or play horseshoes. The view from photo 3 steers you in the right direction. The initial cache includes a Maine Postcard, a Maine Moose Magnet, a pack of Eclipse Nascar Collectible Cards, a 42nd FMS patch, a 10th Anniversary Coin from Fort Custer Cemetary, and a San Diego Pen. There is a log book and writing utensils as well so please sign and feel free to take and leave items. Happy Hunting.
