The Hills Are Alive.. Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

mlord: Well, the guys definitely had the correct (dead) tree at WP7 -- the mini container there was nowhere to be found today.

I did retrieve the other nine waypoint containers, plus the cache itself (photo attached).

Congratulations to all who visited this cache, including The Two Navigators, Tripper, and Binthair himself (his final cache log?).

This cache is now archived.

Cheers!

Geocache Description:

Very unorthodox and entertaining waypoints. Great views near the cache!

This cache is definitely NOT winter accessible.

The hills are indeed alive.. teeming with all sorts of wildlife, including partridge, deer, rabbits (BIG rabbits!), and lots more. This outing should take three or four hours, following a sequence of ten unusual waypoints that lead one through the extensive trail system in this special area. The larger your group, the greater the chance of success. A cell phone may be handy for smaller parties.

The cache is in a 3" tube style container, extremely well hidden. Please take care to remain unobserved when accessing the cache and the intermediate waypoints.

Rubber boots required in April; not necessary by early May but still a good idea; bone dry in August. Not winter accessible, much tougher in the dark. Good family fun!

Note: many searchers get stuck at waypoint-8, so perhaps this clue will be of help. But don't peek unless you really want a spoiler!
