This Nebraska 4-H cache is an easy find located near the University of Nebraska Research and Extension Center.
Located in the D.A. Murphy Panhandle Arboretum is a standard ammo box filled with Scotts Bluff County 4-H items.

The Arboretum is forty acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and research plots at the University of Nebraska Panhandle Research and Extension Center one mile north of Scottsbluff on Highway 71. The Arboretum is an important teaching and demonstration tool in the UN–L research, teaching and extension mission.

Take time to explore the David Nuland Ground Cover Collection, the Trails West Iris Collection, the Diana Harms Cottonwood Collection, the Panhandle Prairie Transition site and the many tree and woody plant groves. Follow the self guided tour to insure that you don’t miss any of the special features.

During our vacation-trip through parts of the western USA, we did “some” geocaching.

We had a lot of fun, we saw lots of amazing places and we say thank you to everyone who shared his geocache with us!!

Whoo Hoo! Our first cache found in Nebraska!

Thought we'd take an alternate route back home from Denver. Weather was overcast and raining all the way back. At least NE is now knocked off the list of states. :)

One of the students that was walking by looked concerned what the heck we were doing out there on such a dreary day.
