Nice view of the Los Angeles Reservoir from a trail junction on the Mission Point Trail. The fork to the south crosses over to the Grassland and Sulphur Spring Trails. From this location, both the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valleys are in view!

This particular spot on the Mission Point Trail can be reached from several trailheads, but the most direct route is up from the main O'Melveny Park entrance at 17300 Sesnon Blvd.

You'll be looking for a decon container, with a logbook, pen and pencil plus some cool trade items for your fair trading pleasure.

Good luck & Happy caching!

Hiked up from Neon Way. The trail from Sulphur Springs Road is like a freeway now. It has been completely cleared of grass. I am not sure if the cache is in the original location as the arfea has had a lot of clearing done.

We made it this far and began to step
to the Fallen Tree cache so far away
Then along comes an old fart of a gent
and he wanted to chat to our dismay

Okay, he wasn't *that* bad, but we did have to scoot him along. As we made our way over to Fallen Tree, we stopped and decided to bring our machete next time. Pretty much no "easy" way to get to Fallen Tree anywhere on this trail unless you are into bushwhacking.

TFTC!

Nicely done, Tom. And a good consolation for passing up Fallen Tree!
