The cache is hidden just off the Glyn Valley Tramway path in
the picturesque Ceiriog Valley.
The tramway was built to carry the stone and slate from Pandy and
Glyn Ceiriog to the Canal at Chirk. Originally this was a horse
drawn tramway but steam engines were used until it sadly closed in
1935. Now the western end of the tramway is an attractive walk
beside the river.

I recommend that you park at N 52° 55.158', W 003° 11.610'
and walk the 2km down the tramway to the cache. The path is obvious
and waymarked.
The cache is hidden in Hendre granite quarry not far from the main
path. GPS is a bit patchy in the valley but as you get near the
cache take the little path off to the left (if you came the
recommended way) up towards the rock face. You do not have to go
near the rock face or scree.
