This is a multi-cache. Its’ terrain rating is relatively high because you will need a canoe or a boat to succeed, read on.
The main cache is at: North 52.AB.115 and East 001.CD.303
The area is one of great natural beauty and rich in wildlife (mostly birds) at all times of the year. We’ve seen Kingfishers regularly here and Heron, Grebe, Coote & Moorhen are common sights. In the summer, the area is a natural suntrap and the flora is abundant. Dragonflies of all types are always seen in the summer months.
Unless you can fly, you will only be able to use a very small shallow draft boat, ideally a canoe or a small rowing boat to reach the cache. The area in which the cache is placed is part of the Norfolk Broads. The channels between reed beds are narrow, sometimes shallow, and not straight. The ‘land’ each side of the channels can’t really be walked on – it’s reedy and too soft.
There is no direct route to the cache solely on land, although the cache is placed on land (just). There are places where a canoe or small boat can be launched within about half an hours’ rowing or paddling distance from the cache. The 4th virtual cache is placed at a pubic access location and possible launching point. Note: all powered craft need a licence from the Broads Authority, so it’s best to row or paddle. It may be possible to hire Day Boats (small engine 2-4 seaters) in Norwich, just be aware that it will take over an hour to reach the area of the cache from the city if that’s how you choose to get there.
To find the main cache, first you need to visit 4 virtual caches, each providing 1 number of the final co-ordinates (A, B, C or D).
You may need the treasure map given to succeed. The map will guide you through a kind of a ''maze'' to near the final cache. This really is an occasion when your GPS may be telling you that you are close to the cache but you may not be able to get to it if you aren’t in the right place!
There is no direct access by land from either side of the river.
Just be aware that you may need to cross one of the Broads rivers, and in the summer, there are many pleasure craft around. Make sure you are visible, your craft is safe and you wear appropriate buoyancy aids.
Take care not to disturb wildlife on the Broads themselves.

The main cache is a large ammo box originally containing:
A log, please enter a comment;
Camera to leave in the cache, but take a picture of yourself and especially your mode of transport;
Books, including Harry Potter;
CDs;
Lots of children related goodies.
