In this granite complex, you'll find a labyrinth of passageways,
ledges and ramps heading off six ways from Sunday among spires,
obelisks, and cliffs. Choose the right gap, the right ledge, and
you'll be rewarded with a cache find and views of Pikes Peak and
the valley below. Choose the wrong ramp and, well, you don't want
to go there. The correct approach to the cache does not require
anything dangerous, but watch your step as there are cliffs and
deep holes in the vicinity.
With a 4WD vehicle and good weather, you can drive to within 200
feet of the cache. Take Road 307 (Shubarth) to Road 313. Or hike
from Shubarth Road, Stanley Canyon, Goat Camp Creek, or Deadman's
Creek.
Thanks to estes01 and Cocoa66 for their help in
placing this cache.
