Geocache Description:

Paddle Lake Charlotte's cypress swamps.

You'll need a canoe or kayak to reach this one. Lake Charlotte is surounded by a beautiful cypress swamp and the cache was placed in this swamp on the south side of the lake, It is hidden in the center of a cluster of tall cypress "knees" and tied in place with a red, nylon rope. The cache itself is a 32oz, yellow polycarbonate bottle with a few toys and such in it. Launch sites can be found at www.kayakguide.com/USA/LkCharlt.htm. Gas-powered boats are not allowed on this lake. Oh, and keep an eye out for alligators.
