Vom Parkplatz des Schlanderser Sport und Freizeitzentrum startet diese Geocaching-Tour. Über 2 Stationen führt der Weg, ca. 100m über dem Talboden dem Feuersteig entlang bis zur Cachefundstelle. Sie liegt knapp oberhalb von Vetzan und bietet eine herrliche Aussicht auf das Hasenörl (Gletscher)und gegen Osten auf St. Martin im Kofel und Schloss Annaberg.
Für die Wanderung empfehle ich gute Wanderschuhe, da der Weg an einigen Stellen über steiniges Gelände führt. Nehmen sie auch ausreichend zum Trinken mit, da es besonders im Sommer am Vinschgauer Sonnenberg ganz schön heiß werden kann. Ansonsten weißt der Weg keine schwierige Stellen auf, sodass er auch von Kindern und Senioren ohne weiteres bewältigt werden kann.
Besonders zu beachten ist, aufgrund der der Hitze und Trockenheit im Sommer, dass an keiner Stelle ein Feuer entzündet werden darf. Auch sollt man auf den heiß geliebten Glimmstängel verzichten oder zumindest die Kippe mit Wasser auslöschen. Genießen sie stattdessen die herrliche Bergluft und gönnen ihren Lungen ein wenig Erholung.
Sollte ein Hund mit von der Partie sein, empfehle ich ihn an die Leine zu nehmen, denn es kommt immer wieder vor, dass sich Wild in der nähe des Weges aufhält.
English: This geocaching tour starts from the parking area of the sport and leisure centre of Schlanders. The path called "Feuersteig" is leading approx. 100 m above the valley ground and will bring you, after finding two stages, to the final cache. He lies just above "Vetzan" and offers a marvellous view to the "Hasenörl" (glacier) and eastwards to "St. Martin im Kofel" and the castle "Annaberg".
For the hike i recommend good travelling shoes, because the way leads at some places with stony surface. Also take enough to drink, because in this places it can become quite hot especially in summer month. Aparth from that the way is not very difficult, so it can be also mastered by children and seniors. Special caution on handling with fire is necessary because of the heat and dryness in this area. So, any open fireplaces are forbitten!! Also is better to renounce the fervently beloved cigarettes or extinguish at least the stub with water. Instead enjoy the marvellous mountain air and grant to your lungs a little rest. If there is a dog with you, i recommend to take him to the leach, because frequently there is game seen in the areas along the path.

- (D) Da bei Stage 1 zimmlich schlechter GPS-Empfang ist, ein kleiner Hinweis: am Versteckplatz von Stage 1 ist zu keiner Zeit ein GPS-Empfang möglich und es ist recht dunkel und feucht.
- (I)visto che al posto del stage 1 c'è una ricezione debole del segnale gps, vi do un piccolo aiuto. Al posto del stage 1 non è possibile ricevere un segnale gps e il luogo e molto buio e umido.
- (E) At the headercoordinates there is a quite bad GPS-reception, a little hint: at the hiding place there is no reception at no point in time and also it is quite dark and wet.
Stage 2: (N 46 37,712 E 10 47,458)
- (D) Der Microcache befindet sich oberhalb des Weges unter einem kleinen Stein. Bei Stage 2 befindet sich ein kleiner Rastplatz mit einem Tisch und zwei Bänken. Ein guter Zeitpunkt für eine kleine Pause :-)
- (I) il microcache si trova sopra il sentiero, nascosto sotto una pietra piccola. C'è anche una tavolo e due banchine. Il momento giusto per fare un piccolo pic nic.
- (E)it is located above the path under a little stone with 3 stonlets one upon the other, the natives call this form of stone figures "Stuanmannl" (stoneman). Here you can also find a little rest area with a table an two benches. A good point of time for a little rest.
