Located in the Anza-Borrego Park, north of Coyote Canyon and east of Box Canyon
We teamed up to hike into a rarely visited part of the park. During this hike we hid two caches. This is the hardest of the two. From the Coyote In A Box cache follow the old Indian trail up the ridge to the playas, less then 2 miles. This trail is seldom used and the desert is rapidly reclaiming it. There are plenty of ducks to get you through the lost parts. After hiding the cache we went overland to the backside of Alcoholics Pass, a distance of about 5 miles. It would be easier to return back down the Indian trail. If there are any takers FTF gets a 1912 Barber dime in very fine condition.
