Geocache Description:

The Mountain Bay Trail stretches from Wausau to Green Bay on an old railroad bed. Popular in winter with snomobilers, this is a premier trail for walking and bicycling in warmer months. (Trail pass required for bicycling, not for walking.)

This is a traditional ammo box cache reachable by the Mountain Bay Trail. Parking suggestions: If you are out for a nice walk, park at the trailhead in Pulaski.(N44 40.361, W88 13.986) That will be about a 2 mile walk to the cache. Or, take your chances parking nearer the cache on Deer Road; there is a dead end road near the trail intersection that should suffice (N44 41.267 W88 15.190).

Depending upon the time of year, you may see a wide assortment of wildlife from your run-of-the-mill gophers (watch out for holes in the trail, they dig through gravel!) to turkeys and, yes, white tailed deer.
