Geocache Description:

A quick cache at the Sunnyvale Mountain Picnic Area

There are dozens of trailheads along Skyline Blvd. Mostly, they are passed in a blur on the way to somewhere else... While out caching this morning, several of us stopped and explored a few of the more inviting ones.

The Sunnyvale Mountain Picnic Area and Trailhead offers access to several trails including Sanborn Park and the Skyline trail. There are scenic meadows and picnic tables scattered about, and plenty of parking.

The cache is a decon container located just a very short walk from the parking area. Bring a pen and small trade items.
