Our Tribute Traditional Geocache

Clan Riffster: I think this one has run its course. I'll recover the box from the Rangers and find another rural home for it. Thanx for rescuing the cache from Momma Nature!

Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in honor of the great Reviewers in Florida.
THANX!

Us Riffsters love hiding caches, and, because we're not the tartest pickles in the jar, we often find ourselves running afoul of the guidelines. Thankfully, Florida is blessed with a small herd of dedicated professionals who steer us back on the straight and narrow path.

With this cache, we'd like to offer our thanx to those kindhearted, softspoken folks working behind the scenes to keep this game going. Without such dedication, this game would've died long ago.

Florida Cacher, Crow T. Robot, Palmetto & BoJab, this can's for you!

You seek an ammo can at the dead end of W French Ave, a local fishing spot which, although I didn't know it at the time of placement, is actually part of Blue Springs State Park. This area is prone to seasonal flooding, and is home to some rather venomous snakes, so wear appropriate footwear. It's about .20 miles from the "parking" area. When you leave your vehicle, the easiest route is along the river.

I would also like to offer thanx to Richard Harris, one of the land managers for Blue Springs, who provided the essential permissions needed to hide a cache in a state park.

Good luck!

FTF prize is a 1945 Standing Liberty Half Dollar
