Geocache Description:

9:00am - 11:00am. A DISCOVER PASS is required.

Aggressive Ivy Threatens To Take Over & Holly’s Thorny Side! Come join us at Cama Beach State Park to help remove these non-native species from our forests!

The event will go from 9:00am - 11:00. We will meet at Lot E - Elderberry. This is the staff and volunteer lot.

This is a very serious situation that needs the help of as many geocachers as possible! Cama Beach State Park is being infested by holly and ivy!  This is destroying a very wonderful forest! All help is appreciated. Everyone is welcome! We will meet at the coordinates and the great staff will shuttle us to the starting point along the Marine View Trail. Along the way, you will see huge trees covered in ivy, growth of holly and Himalayan Blackberry. Bring your gloves and any tools if you have them. Wear stout boots and long sleeves. Bushwacking may be required.

This event is sponsored by Washington State Geocaching Association. If you are a geocacher in the state of Washington, please consider joining WSGA. See the WSGA website for details.
