This cache is located in the Darlington County Park in Mahwah. The
park is only open during restricted daylight hours. NOTE:
PARKING FEES AND RESTRICTED HOURS. Current Hours are believed
to be: 10AM-5PM.
The cache is a medium sized lock and lock.
NOTE: You must park in one of the designated areas. It may appear
that you can access the cache from other areas, but it may only be
accessed by using the primary park entrance off darlington avenue -
please avoid nearby private property and golf course.
NOTE: There is a parking fee during the peak park season (Memorial
Day to Labor Day). For free access, do this cache during the
off-season. I believe the park also offers free access after 6:00PM
during the peak season (but you will have limited time before the
park closes).

I have hopefully bought this container a little time with some duct tape maintenance, though it was damaged more than I expected. I also covered it with bark instead of a stone. If you find the cache to be wet, please let me know.

First cache of the new decade/year! We just got into the park half an hour before it closed, but we found this one quite quick and left a pirate doubloon. Tftc and happy new year!

Parked in the nearby lot and bushwacked over brush and melting puddles. Once we were in the proper area, it was a quick find. As Ramapo mentioned, this will get wet when it rains because of the hole in the top. Nice park--haven't been here in years! Took geocoin, left Coleman lantern flashlight. TFTC!

Parked where I should of and made my way to the cache. Was tempted to go out on lake and skate, but it didn't look thick enough..Oh well.. TFTC..SL
