Around the village of Cleobury Mortimer & Neen Savage, be careful with Geo-kids by the water, can be very muddy in places. An OS map of the area would be a great help. For younger kids or for a shorter walk Caches 1-4 can be done on their own with a short cut to 9 which makes for a walk of about an hour (directions for short cut on number 4)
This series of caches was originally created and placed by Brakspear22, so thanks go to them for the original legwork and inspiration - subsequently adopted/altered and lengthened by Spike09-123.
Series of 12 caches along the River Rea and The Jack Mytton Way . These are a variety of sizes from magnetic nanos to small. The micro and small caches contain log books, pencils and small swaps. The total distance to do all 12 is around 5.5 miles, mostly on public footpaths, a small portion on quiet country roads - caution is still needed ! This is a fab walk for geohounds but remember it is farming land - please keep your dog on a lead when around livestock.
Free parking can found at either N52 22.770 W2 28.954 or at N52 22.858 W2 29.055. This series needs to be completed from 1 to 12 in numerical order, please do not be tempted to "nip over" the other side to get to a closer cache of the same series. As noted above, 1-4 can be completed with a short cut to 9 (see directions from 4)
Start of footpath is at N52 22.980 W02 28.604. Once at GZ there is no need to climb any fences, keep an eye on the kids & dogs as is close to the River.
