Geof: Having visited a number of waypoints in this cache and having found caches gone I think its time to put this one to bed for good. This will free up GZ should someone wish to place one there.

Placed for the "Dash for Cache 2005" this cache will take you to some very nice places. 98% of the terrain is level 3 with level 4 only coming into play near some waypoints (5/5 in snow). This cache is about the place and the Journey.
Before becoming a cacher one of my favorite pass times was exploring the back block in my car and this cache shares that together with some places you can only enjoy if you leave the car and go on foot.
You will see it, feel it, smell it and maybe even taste it.
The cache consists of the start location followed by two micro caches then the final cache. There is no pen in the final cache so BYO. Also leave a brief log in the micro caches as you go. At the posted coordinates you will find a structure designed for you benefit. Count the number of vertical metal bars. This three digit number = ABC.

From here on just follow the micro caches to GZ.
If you find yourself ripping the place apart to find a cache PLEASE stop and use the clue.
I had suspected that people would do this in a day but to date it seems like 2 days has been required.
In snow season you could up rate this cache to a 5/5 and it will require a 4WD or in light snow wheel chains and a 2WD. The start location will require an entry fee in snow season. Car camping is possible at the car park for Micro A (no toilets or water). Camping is also possible at Micro B for those who back pack all equipment (no toilets or water).
Please note Fuel availability in this area is not good - be prepared.

Update 2/4/2016 The GZ location has been changed slightly due to the deteriorating situation nearby. To calculate the new coordinates add 22 to the South component and subtract 8 from the East component. The cache has also been replaced with a brand new log only cache.
