KAIDAN is a Japanese word which means "steps".
You could see several interesting "KAIDANs" in Tokyo, the place, the shape, and the view from the KAIDAN.
I set a Cache here, at the side of the pedestrian crossing. The reason why this is my favourite KAIDAN is that this KAIDAN is constructed over another KAIDAN.
You could see some strange object under this KAIDAN. That object is also a KAIDAN. This is one of my mystery point in Tokyo.
This is heavy muggled place in daytime so be careful. Also, please be careful not fall down when you pick up and return Cache.
The Cache container is steel pen case. You can put some small geocoins and./or TBs.
東京にはいろいろ味わい深い階段があります。
このキャッシュが設置されている階段は、一見するとただの歩道橋です。いや、どう見ても単なる歩道橋なのですが、その下にあるものがちょっと気になりました。
よ〜く見ていただくと、この歩道橋の階段の下に、別の階段があるのが分かるでしょう。今は結構整備されていますが、それでも昔ここが階段だったという跡が見られるでしょう。
なぜこんな変な位置に階段があるのか、また、なぜその上に更に階段を設置したのか、なかなか不思議なところであります。
キャッシュは筆箱大の缶のペンケースです。キャッシュが設置されているのは、ここの歩道橋の階段の脇です。人通りが多いので注意してください。また、キャッシュを取り出すときや戻す時に、下に落ちないよう注意してください。
