Geocache Description:

This multicache is oriented for small children, and is located in a kid-friendly area. Some parental help will be needed. Bring a compass.

This is a small cache full of small things chosen and well hidden by the youngest member of our caching team. The theme here is small toys. TBs are welcome, too!

The listed coordinates are a general starting location that is well-known to local children and their parents. Follow the directions below:

  1. Find the water fountain and the picnic table closest to it.
  2. Walk to a position halfway between the fountain and the table. Accuracy is important. Start with your heels against the base of the fountain, and walk directly toward the center post of the picnic table, using normal steps. Count the steps until your leg touches the picnic table. Turn about and walk directly back toward the fountain, half the number of steps you counted. You are now at the halfway point.
  3. From this position look in a southerly direction through the green archway. You should see a prominent landmark in the distance. Walk to it.
  4. From the landmark, walk 109 paces SSW (magnetic). You may encounter a bit of mud if it has rained recently. Note:This was paced off by Julia, who is about 48 inches tall. If you are not 48 inches tall, and have no qualified assistant, you will need to adjust the number of paces accordingly.
  5. Search at this new location for a small container that contains the coordinates for the final. Exercise discretion at the final, as you will be in view of muggles.
  6. Accessibility in snow - Both stages may be difficult in deep snow.
