A park-and-grab by some really cool artwork

I was driving around town placing another cache when I saw some cool metal art. I stopped and checked it out. I decided that other cachers might like to stop and check it out too. I tracked down the creator -- John Payne -- and asked him if he would mind a cache being hidden nearby. After explaining the process to him he said that it would be OK.

The cache -- a 35mm film canister -- is hidden somewhere on the outside of the upper fence. It is in plain sight when you are looking from the correct angle. DO NOT MOVE OR ATTEMPT TO MOVE ANY OF THE METAL PIECES! Please be respectful of all artwork in the vicinity and attempt only during daylight hours. If you can't find the cache the hint will ensure success.

My thanks to Mr. Payne for allowing this cache to be placed! Check out the "User's Web Page" link near the top of the page to see some more cool stuff!

On a two trip chasing down some virtuals and several other caches with Night-Hawk and Night-Ranger.A quick find with N-R bright light. On our way back to the car we were approached by a local who was either down on his luck or trying to scam us. I hated to hear his car was out of gas ,but still wasn't sure why he was riding a bike. He was quick to explain how he had a bike rack on his car, which was very lucky for him I guess. So what should we do , N-H told him no problem we could give him some gas money and we would follow him to his car. Probably the best answer I have ever heard for this scam. The young man was sort of stunned with the answer ,but probably even more stunned as we followed him on his bike and would you believe it, he had no car . He was lying to us trying to get some money, then N-H told him he lied and has no car and he rode off on his bike to try to scam the next person going by. This had us laughing for quite some time and then we made a couple of wrong turns of course and continued on our journey. Thanks for the cache.

Eureka! On our way to assault the Western North Carolina Virtuals, we stopped at several caches on the way. This cache was a fun little cache that had excellent coordinates. Thanks.

I found this cache on day 1 of a 2 day caching trip with lilmaxhikenbike and Night-Ranger. We did some long hikes and some quick PnG's & we mixed things up enough so that we had a lot of fun in between. I looked for this once before when it was missing. This time we made a quick find. TFTC TNLNSL
