EMSDanel: Who would have thought??? The State of Maine has sold this old rest area. Knowing that it belongs to someone else now, and having no idea what they will do with the property, I'm pulling this cache. I can always put one near, but I'll wait until this property develops.

Geocache Description:

Located along Route 2 in Pittsfield, there is parking for a few cars, relatively flat terrain, with only 3 feet of very easy "bushwhacking. The way to the cache is actually paved to within feet.

Another of my typical snipe hunts, the cache is located in a snipe hunt sort of spot. You can read my other snipe hunt cache descriptions for the history on these. Please note, the log is in a film canister that actually comes out of the cache container....PLEASE pull it out a bit to put the cover securely back onto the film canister. It was a stormy day when I placed this, so if the coords are off a little please note that and I can adjust accordingly. I just couldn't drive by this location without putting a cache here. Permission now granted, so enjoy!
