Geocache Description:

Who knew Hampden had a miniature Grand Canyon?

This series started out half heartedly. We placed a cache in Brunswick a pine tree and called it "Maine State Nickname". we suggested it would be a cool series to place caches related to all the states' nicknames. Well, Shuman Road Searchers called us on it! We will try to place caches in a manner that suggests the nickname of the state in question. Bear with us, some are going to be a stretch!

You are looking for a lock-n-lock container. path is rough and on rugged terrain. If folks think the terrain is rated too low, let us know, we will adjust. Be very careful in winter!!
Parking lot at the end of Summer Street. Find the path in the back right corner.
