This cache is located on the Lafayette, Pleasant Hill boarder. Depending on where you park you will either have a nice stroll through the park or you will be on top of the cache quickly. Either way, take a moment an enjoy this hidden treasure.
Most people don't realize there is a park sitting in the shallow ravine that runs through the neighborhood. Though the park is not big, it does have picnicing areas, a large field for throwing frisbees or balls, benches for relaxing and a basket ball court.
There is also small stream running on one side of the park and a larger creek running on the other. I'm sure there are many a neighborhood kid who has explored this creek with adventure in mind.
Because this park is surround by many oaks and sits in a ravine type setting, many people drive by without realizing there is a park down there. Access this area is very user friendly.
The cache is a film container that, with a keen and experienced eye, is in plain view and should be easily found. I tried to pick a location that would not be affected by the many oak trees.
So don't look up but down to the ground and I think with a keen eye it will be found.
There is only a log in this tiny cache so bring a pen or pencil to autograph.
