Geocache Description:

Full sized cache located in the Wildcat Ridge WMA.

I placed two caches within Wildcat WMA today with the goal of 'luring' people to take a big loop hike between the reservoir and the Hawkwatch. There is some beautiful scenery in between these areas. Little did I realize that I was closer to one of BrianSnat's caches than I thought when I placed this cache - maybe I should have loaded waypoints before setting out. Doh! If someone doesn't beat me to it I plan on placing more caches in the valley below to make this part of a hiker's series.

This cache should be a fairly easy find. Its located by a secluded vista. This trail map may come in handy, although the cache is off of a undocumented trail. Bring a lunch & hang out; most likely you won't see another person while looking for this cache. I placed this cache while doing a loop hike that originated from the Splitrock Reservoir parking area, but you may find an easier way to get to there (knock 1/2 star off terrain rating if you do). Kindly re-hide the cache carefully. Thanks!
