Buda &
Kite - eastern skiing tour 2003
Together with Gobben, Krutet
and Garsk we (Buda & Kite) did a 4 day tent tour up here.
Skiing on telemark skis, sunbathing, eating good food and melting a
LOT of snow for drinking.
And what a WEATHER we had this
easter in 2003! Clear blue sky. Warm wind. Sun. And best of all:
great snow!
You do not need any
special gear for this one. We walked up in just beefy telemark
boots and underwear (!)
And YES; there is a way up without killing yourself
:)
Climbing rope, crampones, harness
and other stuff might feel good. But good boots, some food and
water is well enough if the weather is nice. Otherwise this
might be a rather hard tour just to go caching. But why not make it
into an mini-expedition? If you have outdoor experience this is a
really nice tour well worth the effort!
The cache is a small transparent
cylindric box wrapped in plastic. Near the cache we formed a few
stones into an arrow that is showing the actual hiding
place.
