butterfield trail Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

padilliac: This cache was destroyed in the Powerhouse Fire. I have now decided to abandon the idea of replacing the cache due to the nature of the burned out area. What once was beautiful is now quite unattractive and no longer a place to stop to geocache.

Geocache Description:

Named after the OHV trail that it is placed along.

A short hike down one of two entrances off of San Francisquito Canyon Road. The trail is well maintained and is an easy walk. This is part of the "Back Country Discovery Trail" system in the Angeles National Forest, so an Adventure Pass is important. Cache contains the usual miscellaneous "stuff".
