Start from the trailhead of the "The Playgrounds" hike (http://www.santabarbarahikes.com/ Camino Cielo Hikes). The coordinates for that are (roughly) N 34.50103° W 119.84662° or as UTM: N 3821390 m 11 238635 m.
Cache altitude of 715m may be wrong...
There's not much to do to find the cache. Just try and get to the coordinates - which may turn out a lot of fun in "The Playgrounds" - and search for an ammo box containing the log and some small items (the actual value is the hike, of course).
If you like bouldering, bring your climbing shoes! There's lots of opportunities to use them. :-)
We hid the cache at night. If you already know The Playgrounds, we suggest you go there in the dark, too. On a clear day, the view on Santa Barbara and the starry sky is awesome! :-)
