Cookie can
Poor Dobbsy tried to make his stake around here but ended up as
part of the real estate. His stone was inscribed with the words:
Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
If the panthers don't get you
The banditos must.
After losing everything in a wind storm his pardners tried
starting a badger farm near here. They thought there would be a
market in pet badgers until one night an angry crowd of locals
showed up on their door step shouting "Badgers! Badgers! We don't
need no stinking badgers!" I think that was Sarah Madre's
family.
Actually the area around here is fun to drive around in and the
houses are interesting to look at. Plus there are other caches to
grab near here too.
FTF are four scatchers
STF one scatcher
bouncy balls
Play Dough
Stainless steel Go-cart bolts
and other swag

January 9 by maweni (182 found) We had fun getting to this cache, love the narrow twisting roads. Had to climb over a few barriers to get this one. Cache is in good condition right where it should be.TFTC

January 3 by lovesreward (2344 found) Today I took my friends Michelle, Eli and Henry out Caching, as I had done years before. It was their idea to go out "treasure hunting" so I loaded my GPS for the area near their home and was quite surprised to see that the nearest cache was only 78 feet away; that was the good news! The bad news was that it was on the street right above their home, and we had two options: either climb the canyon wall and create a landslide into their house and their neighbors' or take the long way around. We chose the latter. We enjoyed our "nature" walk and even found a groovy, albeit weather beaten, set of bar stools and table that exclaimed, "FREE to good home. Once owned by Mick Jaggar - HONEST!" Luckily my friend's friend lived near-by so we carried our find to their house until we were done with our adventure. Each of my friend's sons carried a GPS so they *knew* when we were getting close. Just as we were searching the area for this cache, a gentleman and his dog came down the road barking at us (the dog, not the man with the awesome accent!). We said our hellos and quickly went back to our search. I was the one that saw the cache first, but did not grab it until my other three cohorts saw the hiding spot. The boys traded trinkets - a quarter and a Garfield key chain for a deck of cards and a Japanese Yen for a string of Mardi Gras beads. The boys were happy and down the hill we went. Thank you for a fun adventure and for getting us "above" my friend's home.
