Kazusa Academia Park is a R&D base of advanced technology with a very large area, about 279 ha, and one of the core R&Ds is Kazusa DNA Research Institute. In order to have general citizens deepen understanding of DNA, the R&D has laboratory tours on week days (only for more than 10 people) (need to apply in advance) and open door lectures. (The laboratory tour is just for a group of over 10 people and advance application is necessary.)
How about studying DNA a little bit beforehand and find a small cache like a cell which contains DNA, near the institute? It might be good to bring a magnifier with you.
The coordinates are as follows,

Here,
1. DNA is a deoxyribonucleic acid and is composed of a chain of a deoxyribose, phosphoric acid, and ‘L’ kinds of base.
2. The chain of DNA has a ‘M’ spiral structure.
3. The bases exist as a couple of A and T, and G and C and the number of the couple is about ‘P’ billion.
The coordinates shown at the beginning are ones for an entrance of Kazusa DNA Research Institute and there is no cache. And as there is no pen in the cache, please bring a pen with you.

Tokyo bay aqua line express bus is available from Tokyo (departing from Yaesu) to Kazusa Academia park (about 1hr). And from Kisaradu station, JR to Kazusa Academia park, a local bus is available (about 20 minutes).
And 7 to 8 Km drive takes you the park from Kisaradu kita IC, Tateyamad motor way and there is a free parking lot near the cache area.

＜ＤＮＡ、かずさアカデミア＞
かずさアカデミアパークは約２７９haの広大なる面積の先端技術の研究開発拠点ですが、
その中核となる研究機関の一つがかずさＤＮＡ研究所です。一般へのＤＮＡの理解を深めるため、研究所では事前申し込みによる平日の所内見学（１０人以上）や公開講座などを行なっています。
貴方もＤＮＡについて一寸だけ事前勉強して、研究所付近でＤＮＡを含む細胞の様に小さなキャッシュを探して見ませんか？拡大鏡を持参すると良いかもしれません。
キャッシュの座標は次の通りです。

ここで
１．ＤＮＡはデオキシリボ核酸というもので、デオキシリボースとリン酸からなる鎖と、L種類の塩基で構成される。
２．ＤＮＡの鎖はM重らせん構造である。
３．塩基はAとT、GとCの対となって存在し、人間のＤＮＡの塩基の対の数は約P×１０億個ある。
冒頭に示された座標はかずさＤＮＡ研究所入り口の座標であり、そこにはキャッシュはありません。また、キャッシュにはペンが入っていませんので持参をお願いします。
＜アクセス＞
東京から、かずさアカデミアパークへは東京駅八重洲口から出ている東京湾アクアライン高速バスがあります（約１時間）。また、ＪＲ木更津駅からはかずさアカデミアパークには路線バスがあります（約２０分）。
車の場合、高速館山道 木更津北ＩＣから７〜８Ｋｍの距離です。駐車場が近くにあります。
